The day started with clear skies, but slipped slowly into a clouded dreary day. Thank goodness for RBME or there wouldn't have been much waterbird wise happening today.
2 ABDU
2 NOPI
4 CANV
12 REDH
4 GRSC
6 WWSC
1 BLSC
172 RBME
3 RTLO
9 COLO
11 HOGR
2 BOGU
1 GBBG (1st winter bird)
Passerines were much better, with 30 PISI, 6 CORE, 12 WWCR (flying around the parkinglot), BOWA (first Tiscornia record, and a new county bird for me as I was gone during the last invasion when everyone and their Mom saw them), with all the "boreal birds" today it almost felt like WPBO!
Also, 5 CASW spent over a hour feeding over the river inland from the piers. Eventually they hooked into one of the side harbors and we never relocated them. Crappy horrible quick edit composite below. Fourth record for the county (all the county records are from Tiscornia).
yeah baby
crappy composite of the CASW's, or a page out of the crossley guide
