Oh, and a Brant landed on the beach. This is the fifth county record (and the first one in 12 years), and more importantly the first record for Tiscornia!
1 BRANT (flew down the shoreline in the 5th hour, looped around the pier then landed on the beach. It spent a hour here, then was flushed by a idiot beachwalker and flew north and spent the rest of the count sleeping up the beach at Jean Klock. For 50 Days of Rare I think this scores 40 points)
30 CANG
4 AMWI
7 NOPI
7 NSHO
213 BWTE (ended the day needing just twenty-four to reach 8,000 for the season!)
10 SUSC
1 COLO
1 HOGR
1 DCCO
1 SAND (slept on the pier for 4 hours)
23 BOGU
Two GCKI spent the day feeding around the lighthouse, this was after they got chased and nearly caught by the MERL. The first ATSP of the fall was in the parkinglot on the way out.
40 pts eh..... Nice bird!
ReplyDeleteyeah, five for the bird and 5 for for every observer.
ReplyDeleteI could really clean up if I can find another ANMU(that would have scored a minimum of 1005 points!)
